How do you use Nugenix GH Boost?
To use Nugenix GH Boost, mix one packet of the product in 8 fl oz of water, and then consume it on an empty stomach just before bed time.
The idea is that when you fall asleep, this is when the majority of your growth hormone is released and sets to work.
Nugenix GH Boost Ingredients
- Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA) – 3000 mg
- L-Glutamine – 2000 mg
- L-Lysine – 1500 mg
- L-Arginine – 1500 mg
- L-Ornithine – 400 mg
- Glycine – 100 mg
- Mucuna Pruriens Extract (Seed) (40% L-DOPA) – 50 mg
- Alpha-Glycerylphosphorylcholine (A-GPC) – 25 mg
Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA)
GABA is a neurotransmitter in your brain which can help reduce feelings of anxiety, as well as promote general relaxation and well-being.
However, oral ingesting sometimes isn’t the right call as it can be difficult for your body to help it cross the blood-brain barrier.
It may help with mood and well-being to some extent in Nugenix GH Boost – but that is limited by its ability to make it to your brain.
L-Glutamine
This is an amino acid which doesn’t make much sense to supplement in Nugenix GH-Boost. L-Glutamine is only needed in those who have a deficiency in it – which is unlikely unless you are a very strict vegan or have just completed some very prolonged endurance exercise.
It can help to some extent with intestinal and immune system health, and may help to some degree at building muscle – although there is no evidence for the latter.
Can it help in Nugenix-GH Boost? It’s unlikely. It’s not a great ingredient to see in this review.
L-Lysine
This is an amino acid which is thought to help promote muscle mass, but there is no actual evidence for this. So it may not be the best option in Nugenix GH-Boost.
The only thing that it may actually have support to do is mildly help reduce the symptoms of the herpes simplex condition. However, aside from that, it’s not going to make much difference to your muscle mass, testosterone or growth hormone.
It’s not a great option in this testosterone booster.
L-Arginine
This is another ingredient in Nugenix GH Boost and an amino acid. L-Arginine is thought to help increase Nitric Oxide levels which can help blood flow, muscle pumps and endurance.
However, this is very difficult for your body to absorb and use in its direct from. Ideally, you would want to be taking a precursor to L-Arginine, such as L-Ctirulline which is converted after your body absorbs it.
In short, it may have little impact on Nugenix GH Boost due to the lack of precursors of L-Arginine that can help with its overall absorption.
L-Ornithine
There’s not a lot of evidence for this ingredient either in Nugenix GH-Boost. It is thought to help reduce elevated ammonia levels when you take it – but there is little evidence for it to do this.
More research is needed to see if this amino acid actually has an ergogenic effect (enhances physical performance).
You’re unlikely to get much benefit from the L-Ornithine in Nugenix GH-Boost review.
Glycine
This is an amino acid that has some links to helping improve sleep quality in generous amounts in supplements. It may even help to improve cognition and focus to some extent as well.
This is a good sign for Nugenix GH Boost, but as we’ve said, the dosage needs to be pretty generous for you to notice any of the effects.
For example, a study which has shown Glycine to help promote sleep was in doses of 3000 mg per day. There is only 100 mg in Nugenix GH Boost.
Again, for cognition, you’re looking at 3000 mg per serving.
Mucuna Pruriens Extract (Seed) (40% L-DOPA)
This is arguably the best option in Nugenix GH-Boost. Mucuna Prurienscan help promote your testosterone levels via the Levodopa in it (also known as L-DOPA).
L-DOPA is a component of Mucuna Pruriens which can help raise your body’s levels of dopamine and help reduce your levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
Cortisol levels are higher when your stress is higher, be it from physical or mental stress. By helping to manage your cortisol, your testosterone has more support to rise.
Alpha-Glycerylphosphorylcholine (A-GPC)
Alpha GPC is another more promising option in Nugenix GH-Boost. It has been linked in some cases to helping promote both cognition and power output.
This could help contribute towards making you stronger in the gym, while also improving your focus to have more concentration during your sets.
Again, though, dosages may be an issue. There’s only 25 mg in Nugenix GH Boost – and then the studies that show Alpha GPC to have any decent effect are packing 600 mg doses.
The dosages here are a real issue.
Nugenix GH-Boost Ingredients Summary
As you can see, there’s a lot of ingredients in here. However, not all of them are good. Below, we’ll give you the full rundown of the ingredients in Nugenix GH Boost with fast summaries to see how effective they are:
- Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA) – Reduces anxiety, but hard to absorb in this form.
- L-Glutamine – Amino acid claimed to help muscle building (but there is no evidence).
- L-Lysine – No evidence to boost muscle mass.
- L-Arginine – Boosts blood flow, but needs to be in a precursor form like L-Citrulline to work.
- L-Ornithine – Thought to boost physical performance, but not much evidence.
- Glycine – May help sleep and cognition, but not at this dosage.
- Mucuna Pruriens Extract (Seed) (40% L-DOPA) – Helps promote testosterone via controlling the stress hormone cortisol.
- Alpha-Glycerylphosphorylcholine (A-GPC) – Can boost performance and cognition but not at these dosages.
As you can see, the main ingredient in Nugenix GH-Boost is Mucuna Pruriens when it comes to growth hormone and testosterone – a lot more ingredients with credible backing are needed to ensure it is an effective testosterone booster.
So what would be a better choice for this testosterone booster?
We’re glad you’ve asked:
- Zinc – Reacts in your brain to help promote LH (Luteinizing Hormone) which promotes testosterone and growth hormone.
- Magnesium – Inhibits SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) which boosts free testosterone.
- D-Aspartic Acid – Similar to Zinc, helps LH to raise growth hormone and testosterone.
- Vitamin D3 – Technically a hormone which is closely linked to raising testosterone levels.
- Ashwagandha – Helps manage your stress hormone cortisol which allows your testosterone more support to rise.
These would all be incredibly effective for supporting testosterone and growth hormone – as opposed to some of the other ingredients in this supplement.
Nugenix GH-Boost Studies
There aren’t any Nugenix GH-Boost studies. No studies have taken place directly on Nugenix GH-Boost or its efficacy.
However, we can point out the study which supports it’s main ingredient the most – Mucuna Pruriens.

It was also seen to help improve dopamine, adrenaline and noradrenaline. Mucuna Pruriens was also seen to help reduce psychological stress which can help manage the stress hormone cortisol.

Nugenix GH Boost Free Sample
Nugenix GH Boost is available on the Nugenix website for 14 day free samples.
However, you need to be incredibly careful and attentive when doing this. Supplements that offer free trials are rife for having issues with free samples, and let us break down why:
With a free sample, a supplement company takes your card details for the shipping. They save these details, and once your free trial is over they immediately start charging you full price and begin sending products to your door on a monthly basis.
In many cases, consumers have been unaware of this fact and are astounded to see that they have been charged a steep price shortly after their trial of the product has finished.
Ensure that you read the small print when taking out a free sample of a supplement, and to call up and cancel immediately after you receive your free sample. Otherwise you will be locked into this charging cycle for a product you potentially don’t want in the long run.
Nugenix GH-Boost Reviews Summary
As you can see, this isn’t the best testosterone booster or growth hormone supplement that we’ve come across on the market. There are only a handful of ingredients in here that can actually help the situation – with Mucuna Pruriens being the main option.
A lot needs to be added to make this supplement more effective, as there are several ingredients that are lacking in this product, such as low dosages or just the wrong choice.
There are plenty of other options out there that have definitely performed better in clinical studies which would be way better for this product.
